Bubinga is a gorgeous African hardwood lumber.Due to its fine, tight grain and its reddish brown color, Bubinga is often referred to as “African Rosewood”.The trees can grow quite large and five foot diameter logs are not uncommon (making one piece table top slabs possible).Used for fine furniture and musical instruments, Bubinga has an orange-brown color at first, oxidizing to a beautiful reddish brown hue.Finished in 24k Gold, this pen is a large, handsome and powerfully built writing instrument.This pen uses a Parker style refill, and replacements are available where office supplies are sold.
