USS Constitution Historical Ink Pen with COA
USS Constitution Historical Ink Pen with COA
USS Constitution is the oldest commissioned ship in the United States Navy. Naval officers and crew still serve aboard the ship today. Her sides are made of iron, hence her nickname, Old Ironsides. Old Ironsides went on to defeat or capture seven more British ships in the War of 1812 and defeated the British blockade of Boston twice. In December 1812, it also encountered the HMS Java off Brazil, but the latter soon surrendered. Postwar, she captured five merchantmen and captured two British ships before 1820.
This pen contains a piece of wood sourced from the USS Constitution removed during renovations. With a beautiful replica of the ship, laid on the American Flag and finished with an Antique Brass kit. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
This pen captures the romance and adventure of old sailing ships. It has a captivating scene engraved on tip of a grand tall ship, while the end is embellished with the captain’s wheel and compass. Nautical rope accents can be found throughout and encircling the detailed Anchor clip, which given its history, is considered a symbol of a well-grounded hope. A Schmidt Rollerball cartridge is in this pen. The closest thing you can find to a fountain pen without the mess. A smoothly fluid writing pen, and replacements are available at any office supply location.
Optional gift box available for $5. Wooden display stand available for $20
