Tiger Oak Ink Pen

Tiger Oak is not a separate species of tree.  Instead, it is regular oak lumber – most commonly white oak – that has been cut using a specific milling technique called quarter-sawing.  Logs are first cut into quarters, and the boards are then sliced perpendicular to the growth rings.  This angle cuts directly across the tree's natural ribbon-like structures, creating shimmering, reflective flecks, stripes, and flame-like patterns across the surface resembling a tiger’s coat.

The Apprentice Classica Pen Kit is a practical, everyday writing instrument with a clean, classic look. Finished in gold with black accents, it is designed for reliable daily use.   Uses a Parker-style ink refill; replacement refills are available at office supply stores.
