This twist ink pen has a gold and gun metal finish featuring a ring of gold bands.The elegantly shaped main body is made from stabilized spalted maple. This is maple wood that has been allowed to begin initial stages of decay. The partial decay, called spalting, gives the wood dark contrasting lines and streaks where fungus has begun to attack the wood.This pen uses a Parker style refill, and replacements are available where office supplies are sold.
