Independence Hall Historical Ink Pen with COA and Coin
Independence Hall Historical Ink Pen with COA and Coin
The original structure of Independence Hall remained intact until 1897, when renovations became necessary. At that time some of the original oak and cedar beams were replaced. The removed beams were stored for preservation by several private collectors. To celebrate the Bicentennial in 1976, Burnes of Boston offered a limited number of chips cut from the original cedar beams of Independence Hall. Each chip was numbered and this pen contains a small piece of said wood. Pen comes with a COA that details the story of the wood. The commemorative coin is a bonus.
The Jr. Independence pen kit offers a unique deco styling that sets it apart. Discover the perfect balance of history and elegance with the Jr Independence kit. The iconic 1776 in a ring of stars on the cap and “We the People” center band capture the essence of American patriotism. With this pen, you can proudly display your love for your country while writing with precision and style.
This pen uses a Schmidt style rollerball ink cartridge. With the smoothness of a fountain pen without the mess, the rollerball glides overs the paper. Refills and replacements are available where office supplies are sold.
Optional gift box available for $5. Wooden display stand available for $20
As with all Specialty Turned Designs products, this pen carries a limited-lifetime warranty.
