Caduceus Medical Acrylic Ink Pen
Caduceus Medical Acrylic Ink Pen
According to mythology, the caduceus came to represent peace after Hermes threw his staff at two snakes fighting and separated them, bringing about peace. The caduceus is often used as a symbol of medicine, particularly in the United States. It is the official insignia of the United States Medical Corps, Navy Pharmacy Division, and the Public Health Service. However, the current American Medical Association logo is a single staff with one snake wrapped around it, known as the Rod of Asclepius.
This twist ink pen is finished in a gold with gun metal kit and uses a Schmidt style refill; replacements are available where office supplies are sold. Optional gift box available for $5.
As with all Specialty Turned Designs products, this pen carries a limited-lifetime warranty.
