This pen is a wood inlay with 4 colored puzzle pieces shaped into a heart and placed in a maple wood barrel. This pen is finished in 24 kt gold with black accents to complete an awesome pen. The wood inlay is turned, sanded and polished to a lustrous shine. Several coats of cyanoacrylate glue are added for additional protection. This pen takes a Parker style ink refill, and replacements are available at all office supply stores.
