The wood is from the parquet wood floor in Studio #2 at the famous abbey Road Studios in London, England.This section of wood floor was recovered during the 1985 repairs.Own a piece of history. The pen hardware is the high quality Elegant Monarch twist style with a braded center band on gun polish and pewter kit.As a Schmidt rollerball pen, it features well-balanced and classic styling with a Schmidt refill.The ink found in the rollerball gives the pen a different writing style which is closer to the smoothness found in a fountain pen without the mess.Schmidt style refill and replacements are available where office supplies are sold.
