The Martinsyde F.4 Buzzard was developed as a powerful and fast biplane fighter for the Royal Air Force (RAF), but the end of the First World War let to the abandonment of large-scale production. Fewer than 400 were eventually produced, with several exported to other air force uses.The Buzzard’s high speed was one of the fastest aircraft developed during World War I at over 140 mph. This pen is crafted using wood from the propeller.The material was sourced from Historic Gifts of the United Kingdom.Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
This twist ink pen is finished in a chrome with gun metal kit and uses a Schmidt style refill; replacements are available where office supplies are sold.
